Feb 25, 2016 at 6:48 comment added clem steredenn As Mourdos, I also disagree with the point 3... on that question. Yes, gap in science knowledge is welcome... as long as it is about worldbuilding. There, I don't think it does.
Feb 23, 2016 at 19:25 comment added James @Mourdos I added that bullet. I think we have regularly addressed questions in this vein and see no problem keeping them. It is objectively answerable as opposed to "how would a character act"

Feb 23, 2016 at 0:27 comment added Mourdos I really really have to disagree with bullet point 3. This is not a place where we ask about gaps in our scientific knowledge. This is a stack where we ask about building a world or setting and often use science to do so. The actions of an individual character are just as off topic as the motivation.
Feb 22, 2016 at 19:42 comment added Monica Cellio Mod I mod-closed this at the time based on flags/comments/impressions. It looks like I was wrong. Before I possibly confuse matters more by mod-reopening, would anybody care to weigh in by casting reopen votes on that question?

Feb 22, 2016 at 14:44 comment added Tim B Mod Yep. I might have to change the rules to just say add a | or something next to the on/off topic reasons you agree with.
Feb 22, 2016 at 14:42 comment added DaaaahWhoosh I love how there's two downvotes, but still no reason why it's off-topic.
