I mostly wanted to say something because it sounds like you are suggesting Writing.SE for such questions, and I don't want someone else, especially someone new to SE, to have the same bad experience I had. | |

There are (or were) other websites that help with that though I can't remember the names off the top of my head. Alternatively the chat here would probably help although it is pretty quite at the moment. | |

They only want questions that are useful to people beyond the OP. | |
